But I don't see anywhere that you can download it. Since this is a fairly rare need, and generally people are held responsible for providing their own skins, it doesn't surprise me that there's no option for this.

Find and download skin for Minecraft. It’s going to download as a single PNG file. 2. You can save the PNG file anywhere but it’s a good idea to place it somewhere it won’t accidentally be deleted. 3.
